Scope:

Renovations throughout this school included Approx. 24,000 sqft of new ACT ceilings in the main corridors, upgrades to the vestibule entrances inclusive of new aluminum store front systems and entry sidewalks and curbs, upgrades to all the existing staircases including rubber stair treads, moisture mitigation and new finishes as well extensive roofing replacement. The main area of improvement was the Upgraded Natatorium with new translucent wall panel system, painted steel joists with color coordinated exposed ductwork, and the replacement of pool equipment. Additional work requirements also included the draining of the pool, acid washing the existing ceramic tile of the pool, removal of existing overflow drain and trench drain covers for replacement. Significant temporary pool scaffolding was installed for raised elevation work of sound proof spray foam and high performance coatings.

Scope: General Construction Contract - Capital Improvement Project   

Project Name:

Whitesboro Central School District Phase 3

Scope:

Parkway Elementary- Total renovation of the boy’s and girl’s locker room with tasks that include asbestos abatement, concrete slab repair, relocated exterior window openings with masonry repairs, new openings, ceramic tile floors & walls, new fixtures and equipment. Locker rooms will be built to ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Also, the connecting corridors will be upgraded, and a new central office will be constructed within the existing locker room footprint.

High School- The work at this location will include significant storefront, curtainwall, and exterior glazing improvements. Asbestos containing glazing compound and caulk removal will be required as part of the pre-demolition work. In order to continue this work during the colder weather, heated scaffolding will be constructed as a general requirement, for work operations to proceed during the winter months.

City of Utica Parking Garages

Scope:

National Building & Restoration Corp. performed extensive structural and waterproofing repairs to the Utica Place and Washington St. Parking Garages for the city of Utica. These repairs consisted of Full and Shallow Depth Slab Replacement, including new Epoxy Coated Rebar, Corrosion Mitigation Anodes, and specialized rebar Couplers. Additional structural repairs included Bottom of Rib Replacement, Horizontal, Vertical and Bottom of Slab Repair and replacement of Spandrel Steel Beams. Full removal and replacement of ( 3 ) staircases with new Structural Steel & High performance coatings to extend the life of these new areas.
Waterproofing Repairs included 80,000 sqft of Traffic Bearing Membrane coating of decks and stairs, Joint Sealant Replacement, Crystalline Sealer, Surface Prep Sandblasting & High Performance coatings to all Exposed Structural Steel members and Removal and Replacement of Washington St Garage Elevator.
