Scraping Underway As Crew Prepares To Paint Village Hall

Rob Chambers, right, proprietor of C&C Painting II LLC, Utica, this morning oversees scraping of Cooperstown's historic Village Hall by, from left, Irnes Nadarevic, Salmin Nadarevic and Jacob Morrissey, all of Utica. Chambers said the scraping is being done in advance of structural work, so his crew can then return to complete the final coat. The work is part of a $92,000 renovation of the steps, columns and front door of the building by National Building & Restoration Corp. of Utica.
